In couple of weeks Country will face elections for 17 th Loksabha. General elections are the biggest event of democracy and make reliesed the power that common men/women have, to decide who will going to be rule/serve them for next five years.
This festival of democracy in the country which has been started since 1952 has become really changed from then to now.
Changed from ballet papers to EVMs with VVPAT , changed from Congress as the biggest party to BJP the one, changed from Neharu as the biggest leader to Modi the one, Changed from one of the least expensive elections to the one of the most expensive elections of the world.

But unfortunately the thing that would most likely required to change pan India has not changed yet.
Still most of us instead of voting for the development/evaluation of previous work of any party, we used to vote for cast/religion/tradition/issues which really does not matter/pleasing promises with no long term vision.
This wasn't the "actual idea of democracy". Unfortunately we are turning to an older democracy election by election but not to matured/wiser democracy.

The actual parameter to vote for any candidate in every constituency , should not be the evaluation of its earlier work towards development/economy instead of his/her caste/religion or other pseudo issues?
All of us really need to think over it, before step up to election booth for pushing the EVM button.
